Star Feeders is a Dubai owned and headquartered Common Carrier Container Feeder Operator.

Though our activities are all concerned with connecting the hub ports of the United Arab Emirates with other ports in the Arabian Gulf / Arabian coastal region, we also have representative offices in Singapore, Colombo, and Mumbai, to ensure that we are in constant contact with the decision makers within our customer base.

Operating with a fleet which is approximately 78% owned (by number of vessels, 33% owned by teu capacity), we operate two different types of service:

Ø      We operate 10 vessels in short (shuttle) services, connecting Jebel Ali, Port Rashid and Khorfakkan with other ports in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman. These vessels are small, and suit these niche markets perfectly, either providing services which larger vessels would find unprofitable, or by providing a much higher frequency than is usual. This is particularly important in these days of container equipment scarcity.

We are the only Common Carrier Feeder Operator providing services connecting Jebel Ali, Port Rashid and Khorfakkan with Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. For the larger markets of Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, we provide services up to 4 – 5 times weekly.

 Our customer base includes all main Line and non-vessel operating shipping companies active in the region, even carrying overflow volumes for those operating their own regional feeder network.

We cater for all container lengths and types, with comprehensive policies covering hazardous, refrigerated, and over-size cargoes.

Our insurers are the West of England and the Through Transport Mutual (TT Club).
